Xfinity Live Cracking Down on Underage Drinking !
Xfinity Live Taking Steps To Prevent Underage Drinking
People were so drunk at one of Philly’s new hot spots that now the Xfinity Live owners are taking new steps to stop it and prevent underage drinking.
The owners of Xfinity Live under pressure from state investigators for serving to a minor appear tonight to be moving quickly to make changes and are using cold hard cash to do it!
An investigator spotted minors in the rowdy crowd. He returned five days later with an underage person working with her. The minor bought booze 5 times.
Liquor control says it will cite Xfinity live for serving to someone not old enough to drink. But now, fox 29 investigates has learned Xfinity is using cash to try to clean up its act.
Tuesday night, employees of the flashy new hang-out who spotted a drunk in the crowd or a minor trying to score alcohol were given 100 bucks for pointing out that person. They were kicked out.
Fox 29 has been told the tally reached at least $500 dolled out to workers.
Xfinity says it has also hired more security, ordered id. Card-swipe machines and has asked state investigators to help them pick-off minors with fake id’s.
But as of last night, the sports venue feeling the heat began using cash to help cool things down. State police and liquor control agents will be patrolling Xfinity during tonight’s Flyers game looking for drunks and minors.
